Did Tumi ever have lifetime warranty?

What is known at this time is that Tumi no longer offers a lifetime warranty. Most products come with a five-year warranty, the first year of which is “worry free,” meaning it will cover all repair costs, including shipping, even if the damage was caused by the airline.

The TUMI store will deem the repair to be first level, in which they would be able to repair the product in store at no cost. If the store is unable to repair the product in store, the store associate will proceed in creating an Online Repair Request form and send in your bag to TUMI’s repair facility.

What happens if my Tumi product is out of warranty?

TUMI products deemed out of warranty may still be eligible for repairs. However, you will be responsible for the repair costs and shipping fees to and from our repair facility. If your TUMI product is out-of-warranty and deemed non-repairable, we will notify you via email.
