Personal Items These include sheets, blankets and pillows. You may want to bring items such as a stuffed animal, a few books and photos of friends and family. You’ll also want to bring toiletries, such as lotion, perfume, shampoo and makeup. Other things to bring are a brush, blow dryer and deodorant.
Can you go home on weekends in Job Corps?
Job Corps staff members will assess each student’s ability to have a weekend pass away from the center. If a student has disciplinary problems or has failed an important assignment, his weekend privileges may be taken away. Strong performers may be granted permission to leave for the entire weekend.
