Does Dumfries flood?

There is a risk of river flooding to residential and non-residential properties in the Heathhall area of Dumfries and Torthorwald. Land adjacent to the Lochar Water and the Dow Lochar (Lochar Water tributary) and small sections of the A709 and A75 are also at risk of flooding.
