Is Pinger safe to use?
Pinger does not support end-to-end encryption of text messages, however, our servers are encrypted. What this means: Your message is secure from the time you send it to when it hits our servers. This is referred to as ‘on-net messaging’ which means that we have control over the encryption.
Does TextMe show up on phone bill?
Enjoy your membership resources and videos. The Text Me app offers free texting, calling, and additional phone numbers. In our experience, students will download apps like this so that they can hide their activity from their parents (since it won’t appear on their phone bill).
Can TextNow send videos?
Tap and hold the circle to record a short video. And if you want to send a picture or video of your face instead of whatever the phone is pointing at, tap the camera icon in the top left to switch between front-facing and back-facing cameras.

- In order to get a local number, you’ll need to allow the app access to your location.
- When you enter the app after you update location permissions, a list of local phone numbers will appear.

- To place a call from your dial pad, tap the ‘grid icon’ at the top of your inbox.
- Enter the phone number you’d like to place a call to.
