When can I apply for Deakin accommodation?
Eligible students must apply for Deakin Res by 3 December 2021 and accept their offer by 11 Feb 2022.
How do I get admission to Deakin University?
You must have either one of the following:
- an approved three-year undergraduate degree or equivalent from an approved university or other educational institution.
- equivalent qualifications through examination or relevant professional or industrial experience.

Well yes,you can, but before you do anything you need to check with the landlord first, whoever that may be. Most universities will see pets as a distraction but they do understand that they can help with stress levels and mental health!
How long does it take to get an offer from Deakin?
When can I expect my offer? Direct offers from Deakin are generally sent out two to four weeks post application. You can check the status of your application at anytime by logging into the application portal.
Can I get into Deakin without an Atar?
If you didn’t quite get the ATAR you hoped for in your final year of high school, you haven’t missed your opportunity to study at Deakin. A Deakin College diploma can provide a fast-track pathway into Deakin undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.
Does Deakin have GPA?

Can the public use Deakin library?
Our Community membership provides community members with access to selected electronic resources and to borrow books for free. Students and staff from overseas institutions are also eligible for this membership. Victorian secondary school students are also eligible for membership.
