Are T&C’s a barrier to selling on eBay?

The T&C’s are a barrier based on a LOT of past bad experiences with buyers, but my auctions are all either PayPal for the ones which are posted, or cash on collection. It’s different with something like a bank transfer though, especially when you’ve never done one on eBay before, let alone something so high value.
