Giganews allows up to 50 concurrent connections for Diamond members and up to 20 concurrent connections for Platinum, Silver, Bronze and Pearl memberships. There are no restrictions on the locations from which you connect, but you may not connect from multiple IP addresses at the same time.
Why am I getting an IP address error on Giganews?
This error occurs when more than one IP address attempts to access our servers using the same Giganews membership. Giganews memberships allow multiple simultaneous connections, but all the connections must originate from the same IP address. Many ISPs assign IP addresses which change occasionally.
