Can Haflinger slippers be washed?

Some boiled wool slippers by HAFLINGER or Living Kitzbuehel come with a hard rubber outsole and removable or integrated cork-latex footbeds. If you insist on machine washing them, make sure to remove the footbed first. Note that machine washing might weaken the glue link between upper and outsole.

Can I wear Haflingers outside?

If there is a Haflinger slipper to be taken outdoors with you (we’d recommend light duty though), it’s this wool felt clog right here. But the Grizzly clogs are not only used for the quick trip to the outdoors; they are slippers after all. Most customers use them to keep their feet warm and healthy at home.

What is the difference between Haflinger and Birkenstock?

The Birkenstocks have a colder, harder leather/cork sole and open heel, so I chose the softer, wool-soled, closed-heeled Haflinger Grizzly for its warmth and slightly better looks. The Haflingers provide excellent arch support, are very warm and comfortable, and I believe are the most true to size of the bunch.
