What is the fastest way to find diamonds?

The Diamond is cyan-whiteish colored, and the rarest gemstone available. A fast way to find diamonds is to use the Spelunker Potion, which makes underground ores and gems shine.

How to find diamonds faster?

Dig Straight Down. One of the first rules of Minecraft is to never dig straight down.

  • The Right Level. Diamonds are most commonly found on levels 5 to 16. Mining at this level will give players the highest chance of encountering Diamonds.
  • Underground Base. Having an underground base is essential for quickly finding Diamonds. Having to constantly travel 50 or 60 blocks vertically takes time.
  • Caves. Caves are a great way to quickly find Diamonds if they generate at the right levels.
  • Abandoned Mineshaft. Abandoned Mineshafts are great finds when looking for Diamonds. They’re often found at Diamond levels and expose a large number of blocks thanks to the tunnels.
  • Have Higher Tier Pickaxes. While the player will obviously need Iron or above to mine the Diamond itself,it pays to have a higher tier Pickaxes to find them.
  • Enchanted Pickaxes. In addition to having a stronger Pickaxe,it’s immensely helpful to have the best enchantments.
  • Throw Non-Diamonds Away. For players looking exclusively for Diamonds,it may be worth throwing away everything else.
  • Branch Mining. Branch Mining is easily the most efficient method of mining when looking for Diamonds.
  • Hasty Beacon. If the player has utilized all other tips for finding Diamonds faster, the last one that can be implemented is a Beacon with Haste II.
  • How do I find diamonds?

Diamond can be found anywhere beneath layer 16, but is most common in layers 5-12. Methods for finding the ore generally fall in two categories: either caving or mining. Either way, you’ll need an iron/diamond pickaxe to mine the diamonds (also any gold, emerald , or redstone you come across).

    Where do you find diamonds?

Diamonds are present in about 35 countries. South Africa, Russia and Botswana are the main producers of gem diamond while Australia produces most of the industrial diamond. They are also found in India, Russia, Siberia, Brazil, China, Canada and the United States.
