Which is better Puno or Copacabana?

If you are coming from Cusco, Puno is closer and will break up your bus ride, especially if you are heading onto La Paz and Bolivia. Copacabana is only a few hours further, but it requires a border crossing. Of course, if you have the chance to do both, that is always the best way to go!
